Motorola Q9h  


Motorola has announced its new quad-band GSM, Motorola Q9h mobile phone.It has an 2.0 megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom.It has multimedia functions like FM radio, MP3 player, and has bluetooth wireless connection with A2DP and 3G functionality.It weighs about 134 grams and features a large 2.4-inch 65colors TFT display.Motorola Q9h mobile phone is a quad-band GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz network ready along with 3G HSDPA functionality.Motorola Q9h mobile phone also offers support for the new MegaSIM card technology which allows for special SIM cards having up to 1GB of storage memory giving option for larger contact book and larger SMS and MMS memory.


The exterior of the phone is well designed even with the wide format that features a full QWERTY keyboard. All the buttons on the device are accessible with one hand.The Q9 runs Windows Mobile 6 Standard and includes YahoolGo, Windows Live, Live Messenger, Opera, and Documents To Go in addition to the usual Windows Mobile applications. It also comes with a mobile version of McAfee VirusScan. The phone offers upto 6 and a half hours of talktime and 480 hours of standby time, which can be furthered with the included battery pack. It has a standard mini USB connector that can be used with any device with a USB port. However, since the phone itself has a micro USB connector, you will have to use the included converter.

Motorola A1800  


Motorola A1800 is very light and can be easily put into ones pocket. Motorola A1800 is also a sturdy like the Rock of Gibraltar. The dimensions for this mobile are 95 x 53 x 25 mm and weighs no more than 132 grams. Motorola A1800 comes with the Linux operating system. A 2.4 inches touch screen phone supporting 240 x 320 pixels, 262K colors along with handwriting recognition is available. Motorola A1800 has a peculiar clamshell form which makes this mobile very unique. It comes equipped with a translucent flip that also doubles up as a near piece.


Motorola A1800 also has a 3 mega pixel camera along with auto focus and video recording.It has inbuilt memory battery of 150 MB and this memory can be expanded using external chips to 4GB. It supports a talk time of around 4 hours. Stand by time available is approximately 3 days.

Motorola launches MotoYuva W270  


Motorola has rolled out its latest mobile phone -- MotoYuva W270 in the Indian market that offers an inbuilt MP3 player with dedicated MP3 and FM keys.

These keys can be operated to adjust the volume for music, change FM channels and MP3 music tracks. The phone comes with stereo FM radio with RDS support that allows to view FM station, artist’s name and name of the song. The phone features a 2GB expandable memory and an enhanced battery that provides up to 550 minutes and 450 hours of standby time. "We believe MotoYuva W270 will redefine mobile music and create a paradigm shift in ‘making music listening a style statement’,” said Lloyd Mathias, Director Marketing, India & South West Asia, Motorola Mobile Devices. At 94g, the phone is equipped with Hinglish predictive text software, wallpapers and screensavers, along with preloaded games like Sudoku and Tetris. Also, the phone is equipped with CrystalTalk technology that helps reduce ambient noise. MotoYuva W270 comes with GPRS Class 10, and a T-Flash Card support up to 2GB. The phone has 256MB microSD card, USB cable and stereo headset and will retail at Rs. 3,583.
