HTC Touch Diamond handset is probably the most close rival to the new 3G iPhone, this is likely to be launched in Taiwan coming weekend. The Touch Diamond is a Microsoft Windows Mobile-based 3G handset with a 2.8-inch touchscreen, GPS (Global Positioning System) receiver and 3.2-megapixel camera.

The Touch Diamond comes with 4GB of storage, and supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless technologies. It has a Talk time up to 4hrs on a fully charged battery.It also supports carriers' 3G broadband-like networks, and includes features that focus on Web browsing and checking e-mail.The device runs on Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1.HTC has also developed its own YouTube application to watch videos from the popular site. The software also optimises the use of Google's mobile mapping service for accessing street maps and getting traffic data.
